Some insight on the life of a Massive Monkee

Dancing

Not all of us knew each other at the time but going clockwise from top left there is Jo Rawk, Me, Flow Funk, Secret Sckwerl, Domes Diggler, Iron Mike Brysen, Lotuz, Rage and Armageddon.

My last center court freeze at the Sonics game. We danced as the Boom Squad for 3 years, and the team was relocated to Oklahoma City which means we gotta get new work.

Acting Lessons

It was the first time on a commercial shoot like that for me when the whole crew was there. Damn its tedious work though. Four long days, but all worth it. I saw the final product and was proud of our accomplishment. The jokes came off funny, anybody who don't know about us as a crew, well that's us. The fish thing, when Juse is poppin is my favorite part and then he slapped the Scientist and that had me crackin up. Pretty much the whole thing did. I looked better than I thought since I don't consider myself photogenic. Gotta get some acting lessons. I use the coosh everyday; they are the best headphones I ever used. At home I dance in the living room. I don't have the problem of knocking the headsets out anymore thanks to those Scientists at coosh. After half an hour the other ones would be killing my ears and they kept falling out. These are comfortable and that makes a difference in how long I can train like that.

Half an Hour on Concrete

After that battle it escalated. He didn't take it too lightly that I was telling my crew I smoked him so he confronted me about it. There was a lot of trash talking going on back and forth between us so we battled again outside. I also in all honesty thought I beat him outside too. I'm not saying he's wack or anything. He's good. I just edged him that day. The very next day with no surprise at all he brought the whole Zulu Kings with him to call us out. They actually cut us off to battle them, as we were about to leave. I'm not a bitch so there's no way I'm going to step down from a challenge. My crew Massive Monkees battled Zulu Kings for more than half an hour on the concrete. It was a very memorable battle. Both sides did dope. But you really have to see the footage. Me speaking about it wont give the battle any justice. All in all Freestyle Session weekend is something I'll remember till I'm 80... haha.

Slippery Jam

There were a lot of mixed feelings about freestyle session weekend. It was disappointing and dope at the same time. The bad part of the weekend was of course not winning the competition. This particular jam always seems to slip out of our hands every time we enter. I know if we were more prepared we could have taken the whole thing. But you can't win them all. Even with the loss it was still mad fun being with all the homies and just hanging out. The most interesting part of the weekend for me was the little beef I got into with floor phantom. He's a bboy from Zulu kings I have been wanting to call out for a while and as soon as I saw him in the cypher that's just what I did. We went about 6 to 7 rounds and in all honesty I thought I took him.
